I adore Rhys he is one of my favourite characters in this series. To help the Irina that that are coming out of hiding since The Rending they will need a weapon and Rhys plans on finding it. But nothing is black and white anymore not all Grigori are bad. First and foremost, he is a warrior and has been fighting the Grigori for centuries. I’m so happy to be along for the journey.more With the many new characters that you will be helplessly drawn to, and the possibilities that the future may now hold for the singers and scribes (as well as grigori) the Irin world just swells to new heights, and deeper mysteries. Rhys has finally found his place in the world and I’m loving him in it. ![]() I don’t envy what her destiny is, but the creator sure knew what he was doing when he put those two together. I see why she drives Rhys mad in the best of ways. Even you ladies who want to claim him as your own will have to admit she has a unique ferocity in her demeanor that you can’t help but love. One of those elements that we readers have yet to discover in the Irin world, and she will not disappoint you. Silly Rhys, Ava wasn’t right for you, but Meera? Yes, she is such a delight to discover in The Seeker. We have waited for the HEA for Rhys for 6 books, ever since the brotherly kiss with Ava so long ago. Answers are needed, and the future of both the Irin and Grigori lays in the balance The introduction of a character called The Wolf, as well as Vasu’s many appearances filled this book to the brim with powerful moments, ones that I will reread many times trying to find all of the hidden meanings hidden between the lines. Written in the bayous of NOLA the setting is rich with history as well as a huge mystery for the Irin people. (Stupid me *eye roll*) That with such a young country, what information could possibly be so far in the past that it would be hard to find for such an amazing race such as The Irin? (After countless books, and being blown away each time, I am annoyed with myself for even asking such a question) When the author announced this book would be set here in America, I admit I thought that maybe this time the story might have less depth. Places that you could pull from such rich history and weave into your story as only Elizabeth does. When this book landed early on my kindle to be reviewed I was so excited!
